FAQs

First Burn

When you first light your candle, light all wicks and allow the wax to melt to the outer edges of the vessel before extinguishing. Allowing a full pool of melted wax helps create an even burn to maximize the scent throw and prevent tunneling.

Burn session

Our candles typically fill a room with their signature fragrances within 30 minutes. We recommend burning your candle for 3-4 hours at a time to maximize the longevity of the candle. If it is left burning for longer periods without being allowed to re-solidify, the excessive heat will cause the essential oils to burn through the soy wax at a faster rate.

Candle Appearance

The natural properties of our materials may produce a "frosted" appearance on the top layer of wax and occasionally occurs when it re-solidifies between lightings. This is normal and will not affect the quality of the burn in any way.

Burning Surface

Always burn candles on a level, heat-resistant surface away from drafts to ensure an even burn pool and to prevent drowning out the wicks.

Storage

To ensure your candles are kept in optimum condition, keep them out of direct sunlight and store them in a cool, dark place. Use the lid to keep debris off and preserve the wax and fragrance.

Care for your wicks

All wicks are lead-free, unbleached, and braided with high-performance fibers for durability. To provide the cleanest burn possible, trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting. If the wick is too long, it may produce unwanted smoke and soot build-up.

TIP: If soot build-up occurs, wipe clean with a soft tissue once the container has completely cooled and the wax has fully solidified.

Safety

Do not leave a burning candle unattended. Always place away from children and pets. Extinguish candles before leaving your home, office or area that is not attended to.

Recycle, Repurpose, Reuse

Our vessels are chosen to be repurposed long after the candle is gone. Refill them with your favorite mini essentials blend or give them new life as decor throughout the home or office.

TIP: Our containers are the perfect size to hold mini succulents, office supplies, make-up brushes and loose change. The options are endless!

Cleaning

Always allow the container to cool completely before cleaning. A hot container may crack when exposed to cool water. Gently wash with soap and water to remove any remaining wax. We recommend carefully removing the wick base with a spoon.
